Great Example of Why PR is Important

It’s a news story that has been circulating every news outlet within the country, when Komen for the Cure retracted funding for breast cancer screenings for Planned Parenthood. Eventually they apologized and agreed to continue funding the screenings, however the time that elapsed between the initial decision and the apology is wreaking havoc on Komen for the Cure’s image, especially since there were no comments from representatives.
